Drivers usually pay little attention to the delineators at the roadside. The situation is similar with the black hyphen on some traffic signs. For example, the number in the name of a motorway: it reveals, among other things, the location of the trunk roads. In traffic, there are some things that you see frequently, but you often don't even think about their meaning. The color of the reflectors also has a meaning. Roadside delineators serve several purposes at once – including their spacing.
